Commercial/Industrial Roofers (Immediate)

FW Walton is looking for experienced Industrial Roofers.

ROOFING ESTIMATOR

JOB SUMMARY  

Estimate and propose projects of a commercial and industrial roofing and waterproofing company.

 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prepare estimates and quotations through the use of FW Walton computer systems and programs.
  • Work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of customer proposals.
  • Review architectural and structural plans prior to bidding.
  • Review specifications prior to bidding, study drawings and understand project scope.
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Contractors, Owners and other members of the management team.
  • Contact manufacturers and submit request for material pricing; ensure best pricing.
  • Schedule time effectively to meet due dates established by Sales.
  • Handle plan revisions and price revisions.
  • Attend pre and post-construction meetings.
  • Attend weekly operational status meetings.
  • QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  •  Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
  • Strong understanding of waterproofing, commercial and industrial roofing construction
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Organizational, analytical, impeccable problem solving and people skills.
  • Knowledge of Auto Cad a plus
  • Proficiency interpreting blueprints and reading construction plans
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial roofing estimates preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing is required
  • General construction, Roofing, Waterproofing and/or Sales experience a plus

 

 

SALES REPRESENTATIVE – WATERPROOFING

JOB SUMMARY

An Outside Sales Representative for FW Walton will acquire new business by developing strong customer relationships, maintaining an active call back list, and creating and following-up referrals from existing customer base. The individual will be experienced in and familiar with all components associated with Commercial Waterproofing.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Establish new business opportunities with potential customers through cold calling, telemarketing, provided leads, networking and client/associate referrals
  • Work to establish add-on business with existing customers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge base of entire product line
  • Attend industry and product related training programs, conferences, seminars and educational forums
  • Work closely with inside sales consultants to assure customer satisfaction and business accountability
  • Assist the sales director in developing new business ideas to achieve sales objectives
  • Work to build long term relationships with customer base
  • Provide accurate price quotes in a timely manner to customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Previous sales experience
  • Knowledge in commercial waterproofing systems and terminology required
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to read blue prints and spec’s preferred
  • Professional demeanor both on the phone and in person
  • Must have PC knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office)
  • Knowledge in the use of CRM software
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to remain organized while handling multiple projects/tasks
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors (verbal and written)
  • Experience in a position that deals directly with customers (front-line)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Outside Sales: 3-5 years preferred experience in Commercial Waterproofing Sales
  • Associate Degree preferred

SALES REPRESENTATIVE – COMMERCIAL ROOFING

An experienced commercial roofer works day-to-day in various weather conditions. Under the supervision of a foreman or superintendent, the roofers will perform assigned tasks for specific roofing installation. They must follow proper construction practices, safety rules and company policies.

Under the general direction of the Service Manager, the Roofing Service Technician performs a wide variety of Roofing Service duties and repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

-Provide service and customer support for roofing projects

-Ensure timely professional, courteous response to customers

-Perform all on-site installation, repair and maintenance

-Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent service

-Comply with company safety procedures

-Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

-Gather tools and materials necessary for roofing operation

-Work with various types of roofing systems

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

-Familiar with OSHA regulations

-Must be able to troubleshoot leaks and think independently to problem solve.

-Knowledge and experience across a variety of systems including….
